CROSS-OVER - KERESZTEZ�D�SEK
 Hungary in New Swiss Films
Switzerland and Hungary are closely connected through the significant number of Swiss films concerning Hungary, which were produced in the 90's. The rich program hosted by the Cirko-Gejz�r Cinema includes a wide range of works: feature films, short films, documentaries, film-dramas, etc. The films shown in the Cross-over series curiously cross the borders and playfully connect different languages and ways of life in an effort to make the stories comprehensible in another milieu as well. On the October 23 opening the audience gets a chance to watch two short films (Tourists and TV-Dinner) by Robert Ralston who graduated from the Hungarian College of Cinematography and a feature film (The Night of Swindlers) by Michael Steiner and Pascal Walder, which was shot almost exclusively in Hungary: the creators of the films will be present at the opening night.
